Long-form content pieces are some of the most valuable assets in a content strategy. They’re compelling educational resources that audiences will be driven to download, review, and share – but they’re also a natural fit into efficient content recycling. Developed properly an industry report, whitepaper, or ebook can serve as a campaign pillar and be spun off to create blogs, videos, email campaigns, media coverage, social campaigns, infographics, etc.

Increasingly throughout my career, I’ve been responsible for organizing, writing, and developing distribution plans for these long-form whitepapers, ebooks, and research reports. Below are a few recent examples that drove long-lasting engagement from customers and prospects.

Highlighting some of the efforts the team undertook to solidify Acronis as a caring and conscientious global citizen, the ESG report serves as an important milestone in the company’s growth.

Built with the feedback and support of company leadership, the 2021 ESG report was featured in company-wide communications and presentations as well as external conversations with industry media outlets.

An independent study of the key year-over-year cybersecurity landscape changes based on the survey responses of over 3,600 global companies and remote workers from 18 countries amid the pandemic.

This study was marketed to an audience of service providers to serve as a baseline for their own tech responses and as a tool to help them better target their service offerings.

Cyber Protection Week is an annual awareness and promotional event that I first launched in 2020. This report focuses on the challenges and experiences individuals and businesses have each year.

This report was expanded in 2021 to include region-specific breakdowns. Together, all of these reports were picked up by media and helped convert individual and business users into customers.
